Sam Worthington

In the wake of Christian Bale's recent rant leaked from the set of "Terminator Salvation" onto internet which later remixed into a dance floor killer, suddenly, the trailers of the movie were everywhere you look, though, until I saw the full trailer did I realized that Sam Worthington is doing a lot better than I expected.

Sam Worthington, is another hot Aussie stud making his way to stardom in Hollywood. If you don't know him yet? you will be soon.

Sam reminds me a conversation I had with Eric Bana

Back in late 2001 where Bana was unknown to the cinema world, before he became a household name movie star like he is today, I'd joked with Bana that he'd be such hot shot someday, that we'd never see him again in Australia, humbling as he was, he admitted that he was aiming high when he was hand picked by Steven Spielberg and pitched him to film director Ridley Scott to lead "Black Hawk Down", Bana, who since then baptized by the Hollywood make over process, which turned him from a dorky comedian into a hot hunky serious actor, a hot property he is today!

Oh Yeah! Eric was a huge dork before he'd turned into a hunk.

I've never met Sam Worthington, but the very first time I lay my eyes on him was back in 2000, in a movie "Bootmen"

in which Sam played the older brother of Aussie hunk Adam Garcia

Bootmen

Who, was the original member of the "Tap Bog" on Broadway, and "Saturday Night Fever" in London's West end, who had also made a splash in a few movies including "Coyote Ugly", and now back to musical in "Wicked" on Broadway.

As for Sam Worthington, I've always knew he would go far in this business, however, I did not expect this! Sam was noticed for his role in an indie film "Somersault", in fact, that year he won the best actor award at the AFI. "Australian Film Institute"

In "Rogue", a movie about a monster crocodile, Sam's sex appeal was apparent. Though here is an interesting fact, that he was actually being considered to be the next James Bond, the same fortnight prior the contract was signed for Sam to be the next Bond, he was crushed to be notified that the studio that they had went with Daniel Criag instead.

But later in that month, he was signed by James Cameron for a lead role in "Avatar", a Sci fi in 3D which has taken ten years to made (it's still in post production), Cameron was so impress with Sam, he later cast him in a major role opposite Christian Bale in "Terminator Salvation" as Mucus Wright, A machine who's confused that he was a human.

In case you haven't see the trailer, here's one of them.

Sam is also rumored to be in the "Green Lantern", a DC comic movie that is yet to be made!
